I ran across some snippets from past workshops in compiling information for a workbook and thought I share some for the next few posts.
I spent three days sharing with her a gentle kind of horse knowledge. A different approach to how one can ask for what they want. What it feels like to wait for an answer instead of demanding one, and through this patience how one becomes more aware, all seeing, and having a greater understanding of the relationship we are building. Her horse is a rather large fellow with huge brown eyes. He is not trusting of most humans and tends run first and ask questions later. He is not spooky just not trusting.
It was on the end of the third day when she was finished with her riding and had set the reins down to relay to me what new understanding she had acquired that day -I was standing about 10 feet away when her horse decide on his own to walk toward me. I asked her to allow him to come. She left the reins on his neck, he walked right up to me and placed his forehead on mine and stood there for the longest, most moving 30 seconds of my life. Then he gently blew on my cheek and stepped back one step to look at me. My heart was touched by the words that came through that touch, "thank you, thank you, thank you." It was so distinct that I heard it as though it were spoken aloud.
I am blessed and my heart touched many times over with this sort of communication. I urge you to listen, you too will hear.
With Gratitude.
